Wade C. Tanner
Wade C. Tanner is a criminal defense attorney at MayesTelles PLLC. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s of Interdisciplinary Studies, emphasizing in Political Science and History. After working in the golf industry for a year, he returned to school and graduated with a Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law.
While in law school, he spent three semesters in the Juvenile and Family Justice Clinic, appearing in juvenile court as a Court Appointed Advisor. At graduation, Wade received the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award, which honors outstanding students in trial advocacy and clinical work.
After graduation and upon being admitted to the State Bar of Arizona, Wade accepted a position as a Deputy County Attorney with the Pinal County Attorney’s Office. At Pinal County, he prosecuted cases in justice court, juvenile court, and superior court, in addition to being assigned many appellate cases regarding petitions for post-conviction relief and special actions. His trial and appellate caseload ranged from aggravated assaults, sexual assaults, organized retail theft/shoplifting, DUI, Unlawful Flight from Law Enforcement, Armed Robbery, and various other cases. Wade’s knowledge and experience working as a prosecutor helps him see the strengths in his clients’ cases so that he can effectively represent their best interests.
