Guzman entered a not guilty plea in New York on Friday, January 19 to the 17 charges alleging criminal conduct as far back as 1989, and include firearms violations, conspiracy to commit murder, money laundering and drug trafficking. Six other states have indictments against him: New Hampshire, Florida, Illinois, Texas and California.
