Mr. Thornley has successfully resolved significantly serious cases and has successfully persuaded authorities not to pursue charges. When a client is formally charged with a crime Mr. Thornley has been effective in aggressively pursuing his client’s rights and advocating for clients exonerations.

Mr. Thornley has effectively represented clients facing probation violations, restitution claims, and serious sex crimes matters where he has been successful in helping clients avoid lifetime probation sentences and other onerous consequences. 

In cases where clients have been accused of crimes they did not commit, Mr. Thornley has effectively and aggressively pursued complete exoneration for the client with verdicts of Not Guilty, or with Directed Verdicts of Acquittal when the state failed to meet their burden of proof.

Prior to joining MayesTelles, Mr. Thornley interned with Prosecutors in Gila Counties Dangerous Drugs division as well as with prosecutors of Avondale, Tolleson, and Buckeye where he prosecuted cases as a Arizona Supreme Court Certified Student.
