Firm Pursues Justice Relentlessly Feb 9, 2022

The firm MayesTelles has many knowledgeable and skilled attorneys. My brother had a very complex case regarding sexual exploitation of a minor and even though they were unable to make the progress they anticipated, they did not just give up and tell me there's nothing further anybody can do. Instead, a senior partner (Mayes) told me that because my brother's case had been grossly mishandled by the public defender, he reassigned the case to another younger attorney within the firm (Shahin Damoui) so that a fresh set of eyes could re-review the case. Shahin identified a series of legal infractions committed by the State and has elected to take an alternative approach. Mr. Mayes continues to be active in the case and is assisting Shahin as they try another path. In my experience, it's very unusual for a legal firm to continue pursuing a case relentlessly (and without additional charge) when they did not get the results they originally expected. This speaks to the high integrity of this firm and that they remain aggressive and refuse to accept bad decisions made by the courts. I recommend this firm to anybody who wishes to have legal representation who endeavors to ensure that a client's rights have been protected and that true justice is ultimately delivered.
