Scott Eckstein is a former prosecutor and criminal defense attorney with more than 27 years of experience in criminal law.
Scott worked as a prosecutor from 1999 to 2006, starting with misdemeanors before taking on felonies and serious offenses, including homicide. Over those years he handled thousands of cases.
After he and his family relocated to Arizona, Scott moved into criminal defense. His time prosecuting cases showed him how charging decisions get made and what the State has to prove at trial, and he puts that understanding to work for the people he represents.
Scott defends clients against a wide range of charges, including DUI, drug offenses, aggravated assault, drug trafficking, human smuggling, and vehicular manslaughter. He approaches each case on its own terms, walks his clients through their options, and stands between them and a system that can feel overwhelming.
