Bio

Donielle Wright is a criminal defense attorney at Mayes Telles. Prior to joining the Mayes Telles team, Donielle spent a decade as a prosecutor with various prosecution agencies throughout Arizona, most recently at the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.

Donielle also practiced in Pima, Greenlee, Cochise, and Graham counties, as both prosecutor and defense counsel. Donielle was in private practice in Pima and Cochise counties focusing on criminal defense and juvenile law in both State and Federal Courts. Donielle has handled a wide range of cases from homicide, aggravated assault, child abuse, bank robbery, sex and drug offenses. Donielle also handled Landlord-Tenant disputes as there was a huge unmet need for tenants in Pima County. This experience provided valuable insight and enhanced Donielle’s criminal/juvenile practice.

Donielle has been involved in the legal community by volunteering as a presenter/instructor in diverse topics relative to criminal law, ethics, and professionalism. Donielle also enjoys volunteering to improve her local community and reaching out to at-risk youth through a variety of Arizona programs.

In her spare time, Donielle enjoys hiking and photography.
