Maria “Maru” Silva-Duran is an associate attorney at MayesTelles. Her passion is to help the community. She focuses on walking clients through the legal process with care and clarity, so they feel supported and confident every step of the way.
Originally from Mexico City, Maru earned her Bachelor of Law there, before graduating from Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington. Maru now calls Phoenix, Arizona her home.
As an immigrant to the United States herself, Maru is an empathetic advocate for her clients, providing reassurance during what can be a stressful time. She has experience in family-based petitions, adjustment of status, Asylum, VAWA, U visa, T visa, and removal defense.
